Macky Page

Manual and Movement Therapist

Hi! I’m Macky, the brains and brawn behind this project and I’m happy that you’ve landed here.

Bodies, movement and community are deeply fascinating to me and I am find that I am the happiest when I exist in the intersection between the three. I come by it honestly hailing from a dancer for a mother and a mountaineer for a father; I was teaching my first movement classes by the age of 14.

After narrowly scraping through the end of high school I took a gap year where I learned how much I loved smoking weed and how much I hated working in restaurants. I managed to cobble together enough sense to land myself in massage school the following year. I’ve been practicing some form of bodywork since I was 19, almost 14 years ago. Along the way I’ve picked up other modalities, completing a 200 hour yoga teacher training, dabbling in recreational circus, spending many hundreds of hours with a hula hoop in hand, grappling, literally, with brazilian jiu jitsu and eventually into my current deep dive of lifting weights (and more specifically powerlifting).

My practice is my culmination of my lifes’ work, my body of work. Currently I share bodywork sessions that are deeply inspired by my structural integration training, offer in house strength training both personally and in small groups and also offer virtual strength coaching.

Outside of all of my professional endeavors I have a rich personal life filled with three wonderful, gigantic dogs, a loving partner, a supportive family and a playful community.

I love what I do and would love to share it with you.
